This policy states that Kaapenaar Coöp collects information about its users and visitors to our website. Privacy and specifically data protection are dealt with in detail in our Global Data Protection Policy. Kaapenaar Coöp collects, uses, shares, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application and website or any other online products and services that link to this privacy policy. By using our services you are agreeing to this privacy policy. We may change this privacy policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a push notification via our mobile application or an email).

Kaapenaar Coöp’s mobile applications

 

You will be asked by your device’s operating system and/or our mobile application to give consent to be granted access to your microphone, camera, photo’s, contacts, location services, push notifications and acceptance of incoming network connections.

You might also be asked for permission to be granted access to information shared by social media accounts, which you can manually configure on your device, or computer.

You will be required to accept Kaapenaar Coöp’s General Conditions, which includes consent to provide Kaapenaar Coöp with a sample of your signature as well as biometric measurements including voice and facial samples. Kaapenaar Coöp uses these measurements to ensure secure access to your account and to authenticate transactions. In order to benefit from Kaapenaar Coöp’s bluetooth based technology such as bluetooth low energy beacons, your device’s bluetooth has to be switched on. You can manually switch off bluetooth after the session has been completed if you so wish, but we recommend keeping it switched on at all times. Kaapenaar Coöp’s mobile application permits you to share information created in our application with third-party mobile applications to use at your own discretion. Examples include exporting your account number, or statement and sharing the data by email, messenger, or exporting data such as a contact’s information card  to another application.

Should you elect to restrict access to some of the features listed above, the Kaapenaar Coöp mobile application might not work properly, or allow you secure, authenticated access to your Kaapenaar Coöp user profile. 

 

Is there anything else you should know?

 

In order to guarantee the security of Kaapenaar Coöp and the banking sector, Kaapenaar Coöp performs open source research about our users and their associates to ensure that Kaapenaar Coöp remains a secure network of reputable and known users. To ensure adherence to our internal compliance rules, we also collect information such as the time, amount, currency, location, and other details about the parties involved in your transactions and send you contextual valid information or reminders about your account and our products and services. Kaapenaar Coöp also uses warning systems to detect and monitor potential fraudulent transactions and users. This system enables Kaapenaar Coöp to check if someone has committed or attempted to commit fraud in the past or if they form, in any other way, a risk to the security of Kaapenaar Coöp or its users.
