Discover Our Cause
Kaapenaar is a platform that aims to address the crisis that exists in the unitary state of South Africa. It advocates for the people of the Cape to form consensus as to how to respond to this crisis. The Union of South Africa was created as an act of parliament in the United Kingdom that was enforced from the people of Southern Africa under colonial law. Subsequent statist governments have oppressed one people or another. It is time for the various nations that live within the borders of the unitary state of South Africa to claim their right to self-determination and create a new sustainable political dispensation.

The formation of the Kaapenaar Cooperative
A collective bargaining vehicle owned by its members
Should the platform prove popular support, we will incorporate a legal entity in the form of a cooperative that is owned by its members. Every Kaapenaar is entitled to membership and will be represented in a General Members Council. This digital platform will serve as the means to provide a consensus-driven mandate to the management to implement the will of the people.
A range of self-empowering financial products will be made available to members, with the aim of fostering trade among Kaapenaars.

The collective strength of this community has the power to address civilizational and societal problems, including housing, food, and energy security.
